Josh grew up on a farm in Central Missouri on the outskirts of Bunceton, population 350.  He attended Concordia University in Seward Nebraska receiving a BS in Biology-minor in chemistry while playing football.  While there he even was elected as most inspirational player during his senior year.  Josh attended medical school a Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences receiving his D.O.   

Josh has had a variety of jobs throughout including EMT, lab-tech, construction roofer and farming.  In his free time he enjoys turkey hunting, fishing, golf, slow-pitch softball and spending time with his family. 

After he completes his residency, Josh is planning on pursuing a career in primary care back home with a hobby-farm on the side..
