Delene was born in Guyana, South America however grew up in New York where her family currently resides. She attended Stony Brook

University in NY for her undergraduate education, receiving a B.S. in Psychology.  From there she studied at Ross University School of Medicine receiving her MD.

She is Married to Matthew Musielak

(a current general surgery resident here at Mizzou).  In her free time she likes to play tennis, volleyball, fishing and watching movies with her hubby.  She also enjoys writing Christian rap songs under the alias D-Unique.  She is interested in a future career between Med-Peds hospitalist and pursuing a fellowship in Med-Peds endocrinology.
