Matt attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts and a medical degree through the six year combined B.A.-M.D. program.  While attending UMKC, Matt sought additional educational experiences and obtained a master’s degree in Medical Ethics and Law from the Centre for Social Ethics and Policy at the University of Manchester during a year abroad.
