Rob decided to leave the business world and sought
a career that would enable to interact more with families and build
lifelong relationships. To accomplish this goal, he pursued post
baccalaureate studies at Washington University in St. Louis in
preparation for medical school. Rob then joined the University of
Missouri - Columbia School of Medicine where he served as class
treasurer and was honored to be selected for the Student Leadership
Award and as class speaker for the commencement ceremonies. Rob was
also elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society during his
senior year of medical school and graduated magna cum laude. Rob
entered our Med/Peds training program as an integrated resident. He
served as Chief Resident of Child Health and Chief Resident of Internal
Medicine in his junior and senior years, respectively. He was elected
as president of the House Staff Organization and delegate to the AAP
during his time as a resident. Rob’s list of other leadership roles,
honors, and awards is quite extensive. He is also famous for his
amazing covers of classic rock songs as a singer with the resident
garage band, the "Legend of the Drunken Masters". Dr. Gorman is
currently living out his dream leading a Med/Peds primary care private
practice in St. Joseph, Missouri. |
