Nicholas Havens, M.D.
Nick
grew up a short 100 miles away in Rolla, MO where he attended the
University of Missouri Rolla for his under-graduate education. He
received a BS in biological sciences and a BS is psychology graduating
with summa cum laude honors in both. He received his medical education
here at the University of Missouri Columbia. |

Prior work experiences include being an EMT, a teaching assistant for
physiology, cell biology, and general psychology, Web-master for the UMR
admission office, and researching human-computer interaction with
educational web sites. |

He
is married to Carissa Havens who is the special events coordinator for a
local magazine (Inside Columbia) and enjoys photography, riding bikes,
gardening, and playing bass guitar along with being generally nerdy. He
will be attending a fellowship in Infectious Disease at MU after
graduating. |
