The good-natured Dr. Hesemann was brought into this world in Rolla, Missouri.  She successfully pursued a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Missouri.  Upon graduation, she continued her love of life-long learning at the University of Missouri School of Medicine where she earned her medical degree.  She is married to her loving husband, Nathan, who is an ophthalmology resident here at the university.
