Prior to entering medical school at MU, Alfred earned first a degree in biology at Xavier University in New Orleans and later a Masters of Science and Public Health from Tulane.

One of Alfred’s major interests is his ongoing activity in the Alpha Phi Alpha.  Although he became a member in New Orleans, Alfred remains active as community service chair and as a role model for members of the chapter in Jefferson City, MO.

Alfred’s real passion in life, however is his family including his wife Ebony and his two sons, the oldest of whom just started his first season of soccer this summer!

His future career plans include practicing primary care medicine in a rural or underserved area and eventually would like to be a medical director of such a facility.
