Dr. Scott is currently practicing emergency medicine at a privately run hospital in Columbia, MO. 

Steve attended the University of Missouri in Rolla for his undergraduate training and received a Bachelors of Science in both physics and mathematics.  While in college, Steve served as president of the local chapter of the physics honor society, Sigma Pi Sigma. 

His volunteer and work experiences include Big Brothers Program, tutoring children at the Boys and Girls Club, working as a substitute teacher, and teaching Sunday school.  He did graduate studies in cell biology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston before returning to Missouri to enter our medical school.  After excelling in both the basic science and clinical years, Steve entered our Med/Peds residency program in 1998 and served as Chief Resident in the Department of Child Health during his senior year.  Dr. Scott is currently employed in emergency medicine in Columbia, MO.
