The Medical School
The
University of Missouri School
of Medicine consistently
ranks highly for primary care education. It is currently ranked within the
top 10 medical schools for primary care by US News and World Reports America's
Best Graduate Schools 2005 edition. This is largely due to the problem
based learning curriculum used at our school that teaches students how to pursue
their own educational needs throughout their careers. The medical students
are consistently well motivated to learn and a pleasure to work with during the
clinical rotations.
The
University of Missouri School of
Medicine and the University Hospital are linked together to create a unified
educational environment. Residents have full access to the
J. Otto Lottes Health Sciences
Library, including online access to any major medical journal. With
such extensive resources available within the hospital complex itself, as well
as from any home computer, researching a topic or preparing for a conference can
be swift and effortless.
